      Successful Methods

I have not been on the board for a while now due to being very busy, i have experienced many very short, inconsistent ld's. One problem i have is i know all of these techniques that people write about, and they sound very promising. I never see anyone but the person who wrote it swearing by it, and the person who wrote usually is a natural

Which brings me to my question.

Please for those of you who arent "Naturals" what methods have you had viable success with, one that has worked more than once.

I dont needs a super long response i just want to compile a sort of survey of what has worked best for people.

Well I still havent managed to get a good WILD, but Im trying diffrent ways each day. Right now WBTB really works with eating something that has B6 in it to make it lucid. Chocolate milk works the best. I drink the milk, fall back asleep, and have a long vivid LD. Only works about 10% of the time but its great when it does.

if you figure out the best times to go to bed, wake up, how long to stay up, etc. it would be the best, but that takes months of effort to find the perfect variables. Hope this helped

I have trouble getting back to sleep after waking up for more than fifteen minutes, so WILD is out for me.

I WBTB for ten minutes and MILD myself back to sleep. It has to be my most successful method. I just need to be enthused in what I want to dream about!

WILD without WBTB - I just act as if I'm going to fall asleep normally, then stop myself on the brink and count or repeat a phrase until I'm dreaming.

Also, FILD works really well for me if used immediately upon waking to re-enter a dream

Cheese. It's not exactly original but it helps give me vivid dreams in which I can then perform RCs.

Also, just setting the alarm for 1 hour earlier than I need to get up then allowing myself to drift back to sleep for that hour (no particular technique, just falling asleep into REM sleep naturally).

i recently had a 2 month lucid dry spell ^^' which ended yesterday
i used the method (which probably isnt a method ) of lying still and letting my body fall asleep first

WBTB + MILD, but I have to do MILD for at least 20 min. or it doesn't work.
