Lucid Dreams in 30 days - The creative sleep program.

I am now wondering why I have never heard anywhere on this forums anything about this book I bought a while back.

Lucid Dreams in 30 days - The creative sleep program.

It is very useful, although however attractive this would seem to most new LDers, I was not able to get any of my siblings to try it. It seems to be very useful, but it is to get your LDs started, from scratch, which I do not need any more. In fact, I find this book in some places very patronising, but only because I have known about LDing for so long.

Like I said, I flicked through, and found some useful nuggets. Some of the days (it being a day-by-day based book) were quite fun, and I did them because I liked the look of them.

I expect that the 30day plan would be very successful, but I cannot say I have tried it from scratch. Thus, I cannot claim I have done a full review, yet still, it is very well written.

      But I want to:

      know what you all think

recommend this to every new LDer, especially those having a bit of trouble getting started.

know if anyone has read it, and what you think.

I have this book. I started the program at one time, but never got around to finishing it. That's the problem with laziness. . . But I agree, it is really useful.

I have bought this book a couple months back. I got around week 3 and just quit. I can have lucids all on my own now anyways.

"On Day 6 of the program you're expected to "act out a dream" while awake in public by doing things like "wearing layers of garish costume jewelry to a company picnic, or furry red bedroom slippers for a stroll through your local downtown shopping district." Yeah that sounds like a great idea, hey why don't I just strip naked in the grocery store while I'm at it...?" (Quoted from Anonymous reviewer).

How eccentric. Are these remarks true?

the book suggest doing something that you wouldn't normally do in order to recognize how odd you feel when you do it. In this way it will be easier for you to recognize dream signs. The book does suggest these examples, but the essence of the exercise is to put yourself in a situation that you might find yourself in a dream; to help you become aware.
