      WILD Getting Frustrating...

I've tried WILDing many times but I can't seem to get it... I set my alarm clock to 5 hours. (I'm not changing that) After I set my alarm clock I usually get out of my bed for about five minutes before I attempt to WILD... When I go back into my bed, I don't know what to do... I try to stay as still as I can but I'm not sure what I should be thinking of...

I'd just take a step back for awhile. The same happens to me. Actually, the two WILDs that I were able to achieve happened incidentally. I'd just concentrate on your dream recall and reality checks and cool it with the WILDs for awhile. You may have one without even trying.

the few WILDs i have had were kind of by accident. i would do one of the techniques that involved counting and saying "i am dreaming" and i would get to like 150 or something. then i would either roll over out of discomfort or just give up. then i would let my mind wander but not too far. its hard to explain. i would like keep my thoughts on a leash. every few minutes i would do a few deep breathes and back to counting until like 20. then i would think about random stuff again. then when i felt a falling sensation or got HI i would focus on that.

thats the attitude. if you still don't know what to think about when WILDing, there are like 50 tutorials on how to WILD in the tutorial section. they usually say what to think of. it is often counting or something like that. i recommend reading a few and seeing what works best.

according to my knowledge the discomfort is the near-last step before HI/SP starts. its your brain checking if your awake or not, try ignoring it

      my knowledge says

      a) stress = failure...have a few nights off to read about other WILD techniques.

      b) not sure what to do? thats where every wild is different. Some say count, some say imagine, some say feel.....I've linked a few....have a think about which ones best for you..
