      What was this?

Ok, so i woke up earlier in the day and i was wide awake. I went to drink some gatorade and i laid back down in bed.

So i was lying there, not really trying any technique or anything, and i get this huge sensation of going down a fall on rollercoaster, just out of nowhere.

I've had this happen maybe twice before, but never this strong. And i remember before it happened i was seeing like TV static if the channel doesnt appear in my eyes randomly. And at some point i kept seeing an open book in my eyes.

So i thought, hey ill think of a word, and this word will appear in this book when i see it again, and the moment i saw it in that book that feeling hit me.

So I dont know what technique i was doing subconsciously or whatever as i've tried to get this to happen many times and nothing happens.

At the height of this feeling i felt my leg twitch and it kind of dropped me off of me at that point.

Soo two questions: What technique might have caused this, as before ive tried to wild and whatnot many times and nothing ever comes out of it. Heck even the night before i Didnt take a B6 or Melatonin like i have been every night before and i was wide awake.

And How do you get through that rollercoaster feeling, as everyone says when you get that you're practically there, but when i get it it seems to wear away.

      Thanks Guys.

Sounds like you were aware during the hypnagogic state. It's then common to experience such sensations as falling/floating/not feeling your body at all, and seeing images and hearing sounds. I often slip into this state consciously during the morning, after waking up, so I know what all these sensations are like. If you hadn't twitched, you would probably had slipped into a WILD.

It was probably the getting out of bed, then lying down and relaxing that did it. This made your mind alert so that you stayed conscious when you started to fall asleep, yet you were still tired enough to be able to fall asleep.

      I hope this helps.

Yeah, well this morning again i woke up and laid back down and i got that vibration feeling all over my body, and then the floating sensations, pretty cool feeling actually.

In fact i can get this nearly every morning, its just i can never get to wild from it, i dont know why, because wilds are supposed to be right after this.
