No, but i wish it has.

I think it was just a side-effect of the SP. I'm guessing it's because you concentrated on that spot really hard, but then again, thats what you're supposed to do. I've seen my third eye activate during wild, and it's like your eyelids become transparant. I don't think it's supposed to hurt or burn.. lol. But I do also feel sensations there. On one occasion, my hand felt like burning during SP, which really hurt. So much, that I actually checked it if it wasn't really burning.. =x

the thing was that i was so curious about it that it was distracting to me! i had no visuals and found it really hard to focus on dreaming, but all in all i didn't mind the sensation and would welcome it back

This may belong in the Beyond Dreaming section, but here's my two cents anyways. I've had many such experiences with my third eye. I get the burning sensation, and also a feeling of ticklish pressure.

It started spontaneously one day while I was driving, and after that I learned to control it more during meditation. With the right mindset and focus, you can get it to the point where its throbbing with a pressure that is almost unbearable, and I've had to stop sometimes because the feeling was too overwhelming to lie still during. Imagine trying to lie there while someone is tickling the front of your brain.

I know it sounds weird and everything, and there are tons of people who will think it's bunk, but having felt it I can easily say that the sensation is just as physically real as anything else I feel.

According to new age/eastern religion/meditation lore (none of which I am at all authoritative on...) what happened to you would be deemed you opening your third eye. If it happens again, I would suggest doing what I do: focus on the feeling and try to make it stronger, and see where it leads! It can be very interesting.

Be carefull with third eyes experiences because most ppl get nuts without the others chakras balanced.

I work with chakras and i can tell you if you dont balance at least the first chakra(root chakra) that is connected with the third eye you will be experience some wacko experiences(spirits,demons,diferent realities,etc) and you might be get into a nut house.It opens a different kind of perception of reality(different state of consciousness)so basically you start seeing stuff that normal ppl dont...wich in case is true but you are considered a lunatic...
