      Could This Work? "FILD"

Anyone ever seen A Nightmare on Elm Street? Well, what if you watched it, then when you had a dream later, he could be your dream sign. (FILD=Fear Induced...) Any thoughts? *EDIT "FEAR-ILD" Apperantly FILD was already taken

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

      a) how many times do you plan to watch this movie? Everytime you want to LD? Thats alot of wasted time.
      b) why resort to this? There are so many effective techniques already?

Interesting, but i think FILD is taken (Food induced Lucid dream) though nothing is written in stone with some of the terminology here

It may work if you also did an RC when he appears in the show. My guess is you'd have to watch it at least a few episodes for it to be a constant dreamsign and to really love the show to even see it.

One way is on your desk or where you spend most of your day have an object on it, like a sphere or candle or something obscure.
Look at it through the day very regularly and say to yourself "Am I dreaming...check if I am dreaming" as you look at it.
As you go to sleep all you have to do is visualise the object. No need for thought of the words... your mind will attach the words to the image, as we see in images.
This is the easiest method I have found to induce Lucidity.
      Enjoy.

      Question

Why would you want to see Freddy Cougar anyways? Do you plan on kicking his ass or something. I have found that nothing ever beats me in a dream anymore, it did when I was a kid, but now I can do anything and I do if I feel the need to. Does anyone here get their butts kicked still, from time to time in a dream?

An even easier way is to leave a light/lamp on dimmed to a comfortable level during sleep. As you lay on the bed to sleep with eyes closed, focus your awareness on the light/lamp and ocasionally look at the light/lamp on the table to refresh the focus if it starts to drift. If you've done some reality checks with the light/lamp...there is a 90% chance you will dream of doing the same thing and become lucid.
