      The "Good Morning" Thread

Alright! So here is where we will post the results of saying goodnight!

I, for one, did NOT get lucid again but I did try WBTB for the first time and it seems like after a couple attempts I might be able to get the hang of it!

I like this goodnight/good morning business. You'll have to put up with opposites from me though as I'm 13 hrs ahead of most of y'all. But Good Morning to you!

Haha it's ok we just won't look at the times you post lol...

On second thought, maybe this would be more creative if it were called "The Morning-After Thread" lol

Great Idea!! And Good Morning! (well technically afternoon, but whatever!)
Another failed attempt--no, failed isn't the right word. Not positive enough. Another, NEARLY LUCID attempt!!! (that sounds better). SOOO close, but then I got way too uncomfortable laying there without sleep so I gave in. I will try again tonight though!!

Goooooood Morning. No go last night, but I did have some nightmarish dreams (haven't had any since I was a kid) which I made myself wake up from. Only it was either a false awakening or I slipped right back into dreaming. Found myself waking up in front of the TV and watching a documentary on a serial killer (which is what my nightmare had been about; I was even predicting what the narrator would say next). I tried to exert control and do a reality check, but I couldn't manage to make myself.

Gag another non lucid night. This one, however, I do not attribute to my lack of ability to actually dream, but to my lack of ability to fall asleep

Had a real crappy night... Didn't follow my usual evening ritual (but SG-1 was on TV and I couldn't miss it). Then I woke up after only 2 hours of sleep and could hear someone talking to themselves (or maybe they were on the phone). Well anyway, bad nights happen, can't let that get me down.

I think I MIGHT have gone lucid (FILD) and if not I got as close as I have yet. I say that I might have gone lucid because I remember thinking that my clarity was poor but I don't actually remember knowing I was dreaming... maybe I just forgot after waking up but I dunno...

Well I was walking on a bridge and on one side was water and the other side there was land and a hill. In my dream, I would walk across this bridge and teenage kids dressed up in white and black camouflage would bully me and take out knifes and threaten me and would even throw them at me. Then, on my way back over the bridge the kids came up and started REALLY trying to hit me and then scattered. The police came dressed up in their uniforms with guns drawn saying stuff like "WHERE'D THEY GO?!" and then asked me about them. This is the first time race has played a role in my dreams because the commander was African (his partner was Caucasian) and I told him "They are dressed in black and white camo and half are African-American and half are Caucasian. They went up on the hill!" So they ran the other direction and laid down in the water to face the hill and drew their guns. Everyone who was not in the water saw that there were other bodies coming up from the water. At first, we all thought these were scores more of troops but they were actually dead bodies floating up from the water, backside up. They started coming alive and grabbing the Police and then they all started coming out of the water, approaching the people on land. This is when I think I *might* have gone lucid but I didn't get enough sleep last night to remember this ONE fact so I'm not going to count it. But anyways, I realized that instead of running away like everyone else, I should run into the water and I just started introducing myself to the dead people by shaking hands and saying hi whilst waist deep in water and around here is when I noticed my dream was not clear because some of the zombies didn't have distinct facial features and such... when I got to the wall behind the water, I went through it and
ended up still in a crowd of fuzzy people but in a pub of some kind. I walked all the way to the back and saw the kid who plays Dudley Dursley in Harry Potter and told him I was his biggest fan to make him feel better because I bet he gets no credit lol and then I looked around for HP himself and he and Ron both had braces... they were all in their younger phases lol

Then I woke up. So I'm making progress! My Dream Recall has been crapola since I started wearing my retainer again so this is good news!

Ugh. Two crappy nights in a row, this one worse. I know I said last night that I wasn't going to try anything, but don't you just know that my "training" kicked in when I felt SP coming on. But I kept getting uncomfortable. I must have kicked out of SP 6 times throughout the night!

Also, I decided to write more messages on my body. All damn night I was on the cusp of Lucidity! I dreamed about it time and again. At one point, I remember being on the phone with someone and said into the mouthpiece "Lucid!" But it never worked. I actually said to myself, "Jesus, Chris, knock it off and just give up already." I wanted to, but for some reason I kept at it!

So not only did I get a crap night's sleep, my dream recall was for shit. No games tonight, just solid sleep!

Nothing?! NOTHING AT ALL?! Like, no recall whatsoever! Well, compare that to my post yesterday... you can't win 'em all!

I am so close I can lick it.

Meh, crappy night. I was just really tired yesterday.

When I woke up, I thought about trying to WILD or something, but I was just too tired.

Oh well, I've got plenty of nights ahead of me

Well I slept well enough but didn't remember any journal-worthy dreams (I had one where I was on a ship with captain Barbosa [Pirates of the Carribean] but it ended before anything interesting happend )

      Cool. Pirate dream!

I was sleeping like a rock until construction workers started banging on metal pipes right outside my door. I flipped out and probably lost some dream recall because of it.

WELL. Last night I was going to take a break, as to catch up on sleep. I told myself (Like I always do) that I wwas goig to remember my dreams, and I did. I woke up at around 4 in the mornin' and thought "Well, I'm up, might as well try something. I wrote down my dream and tried MILding. I don't know if it was the MILD that worked, but either way, I ended up having a lucid dream. It only lasted seconds though, I got excited a bit, but mostly everything just went fuzzy.

Should I chalk it up to a MILD, or a DILD? The second dream was nothing like the first, and it took a while to get lucid, so I'm not sure...

Holy crap. I took 50mg of B6 last night and my recall is frackin nuts. I usually remember between 2-5 dreams a night, but this morning I've remembered at least 15! A few of those I wrote down in the middle of the night, but most just came to me in the morning. Unreal.

Yeah, no exaggeration. And that's assuming a couple more aren't triggered soon (as they usually are). And there's way too much detail to record in my journal. I'll just have to do my best with the most essential details. I won't be taking this much more than once a week. I want it to be a controlled experiment and don't want to have to depend on B6 for vivid dreams. But once in a while will be cool.

Is there such a thing as Mind Lag? On Friday, I wished for great recall, but not necessarily lucidity. On Saturday, I had little recall... But on Sunday, I remembered dreams from each time I woke up (three times)! I did reality checks in two of them, but didn't become lucid. Odd.
