      Problems with WILDing

Ive tried wilding using some technique posted on here ( I forget who its from) and every time I calm down and realx all of my muscles, then I realx my breathing. In his tutorial, he said to roll back your eyes and you will start to feel tingling rising into your chest, then you experience many weird feelings in your chest, and then you feel vibrations and hear noises sometimes. The problem is, I was doing that for a very long time and I only felt the tingling sensation and none else after that. But soon, I felt a weird feeling like my body froze, and it felt way more relaxed in a weird way, I also instead of seeing the back of my eyelids, it seemed like a darker black, like empty space. Maybe for me it skipped all those other stages, but I was too afraid to try to move because I could still feel my eyes being held back by my muscles so I knew that my body was still sort of awake. The wierdest part is, that even though it felt like I wasted my time and it felt like I was awake the whole time, when I told my mom that I coulnt sleep, she told me that when she was looking for me, she went into the bedroom and she saw me sitting up mumbling to myself even though I never acctually did that and I felt like I was awake the whole time. I wonder If my body fell asleep and I didn't know it or something. I'm really clueless.

It doesn't always work exactly the way someone else explains. You may not find rolling your eys back in your head works. You may also not experiance vibrations. That doesn't mean your not on the right path. The tips people give are a great tool, but it comes down to what works for you.

As for your mom seeing you sitting up mumbling to yourself, was that in a dream, or did it really happen? Sorry but I couldn't understand what you meant by the way I read it.

i think u r way close to successfully WILDing than me!!!i am way jealous....if ur body felt frozen try to "Will" and arm up or somthing, or will a finger up and if u move ur muscles, since it is only a finger it will be fine and u will not wake up. i find that when i WILD (well attempt) after a bit i am no longer tired, that is probally because i am falling asleep or am asleep, ur almost there, try to open ur eyes slowly, i dunno u seem close...

what i like to do after im in that state, is try to think about your dream body, and try to roll it onto its side. (dont actually roll ur RL body...) think about the will to do it, and the muscles you'd use to do it... eventually (if you are like me, which u might not be) you'll roll over your dream body, and be dreaming! lol i hope i could help...

That part was real, after I got out of bed because I thought that I was having no sucess at making my body fall asleep, I then went to (in real life) my moms room and told her that I couldn't get to bed. She then said that she saw me asleep in there earlier and she said that when she was looking for me she looked into the room and saw me sitting up in bed with my eyes shut and I was mumbling random noises to myself. I never remember doing that. Oh, and after she said that I did a reality check and sure enough it was still real life.

Total LDs- 0 and proud of it!

I find sometimes you see something that you think may be a dream and it is also happening in reality (almost synched) because you are sitting in the fence of awake and asleep.
You then do a reality check and you actually wake yourself up doing it for a second, and then go back to sleep quickly after the RC.
It can get confusing as everything looks normal, but you are seeing dream world and real world so close together.
Trick is to hone in and control which is which.

Oh I see. I guess thats a good sign that you where at least falling a sleep even though you didn't relize it.
Now you just need have a conscious mind when that happens.
