      WILD is short for Wake Initiated Lucid Dream and it is the ability to go into the dream state while remaining consciousness, thus inducing a lucid dream.

      With it goes Hypnagogic Imagery (or HI) which might induce some hallucinations in some people. Some describe it as flashing colors which then merge into dream scenes.

      A good read would be Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Dr. Stephen LaBerge. You could find it on the internet at Gutenberg Free Ebook (yes, that is legal, because the copyright expired).
