The second coming........ my lucid tips

Hello... I was newbie when i first visited this thread some time ago and received much invaluable advice and tips on the elusive art of lucid dreaming and i thank you for it. I have since had many lucid dreams (about 50 in 6 months) ranging from the magnificent to the downright disastrous. I have developed my own little
technique which is a mixture of other well known techniques and would like to repay the forum for the help it gave me when i was starting out.

      Nightwalkers method:

firstly this is a wbtb method as i have not yet been able to wild without sleeping beforehand

I set my alarm for the same time every morning 7 am. I find that if you pick the same time every morning it starts to become routine which after time makes it easier to accomplish as your sub conscience begins to register this time as lucid time.

I get out of bed and go to the toilet and get a glass of water to make sure i don't wake during my dream. I then take a quick walk around the house just so that you wake yourself up a bit but not to much.

After about 3-5 mins i get back into bed this is basically just a severely shortened version of a wbtb but i find that if you get up only briefly it makes a wild much easier.

Next i lie in bed and count to a hundred using my breathing for every count. I find this to be the hardest part as so often in the start i simply drifted off to sleep so i lie on my back as i find it harder to sleep in that position. Do not move at all and try to stop your mind from wondering and just focus on your breathing and count.

I then move into a more comfortable sleeping position and start thinking about the dream i want to have for example i would picture myself walking around my house in my mind and keep my mind focused on this thought and don't let it stray. you can pick anywhere you want but the more familiar the better as it makes it easier to envision. I then slowly begin to imagine myself in this dream and i start getting sp and other wild effects and drift into the dream.

This technique works for me about 70 % of the time and i think the key is the timing. It will probably take you a few goes as the first time you could stay awake for to short a time and drift straight back off to sleep or stay up to long and not be able to get back to sleep but don't be disheartened as you will eventually get there and i find it gets easier the more you do it. I also find that when i do accidentally drift off i normally have a very vivid dream where i eventually realize im dreaming and become lucid. This happened this morning when i had a 20 min lucid dream. I however do find that im far less lucid in these dreams and have less control.

sorry for the long post but i tried to condense it as much as i could. Hopefully
      this will help some people

Let me know what you think and feel free to ask any questions
