I've been awake since noon on Saturday, so I'm quite exhausted at the moment. Once 6:00 rolls around and the birds start chirping, I usually don't bother trying to sleep through it. We have a lot of really loud birds around my house so it can be frustrating.

Okay, so this time, I plan on trying to go to sleep around 10:00 pm so that'll be around 34 hours of being awake. That should be enough to speed up the falling asleep process. I have yet to pull off a successful W.I.L.D., so I'm not exactly sure how to do it. But what better time to give it a shot? The fun part about sleep deprivation are the mild exhaustion induced hallucinations.

I tried to read a book a few hours ago, but I couldn't make it through more than 10 pages. After a few minutes of sitting still, I started to fall asleep while reading and had to re-read the same sentence 6 times before I actually comprehended what I read. Reading is so hard for me when I'm tired. I wonder if certain parts of the brain don't function as well when deprived of sleep compared to other parts.

I don't know if it'll actually work, but I'm setting my alarm for 3:00 a.m. for another W.I.L.D. attempt as a backup plan, or in case of success, for double the fun!
