The Uberman sleep schedule looks awesome, but there's no way I'd be able to strictly follow it. While reading about it, I've decided to try the Everyman sleep schedule.
When my alarm went off at 4:00 am this morning, I woke right up, turned it off, and fell back asleep almost immediately, completely forgetting to try a W.I.L.D again. When I first went to sleep, I tried meditating. It was very relaxing. I tried to just maintain some sort of awareness as I fell asleep, but sleep snuck up on me, and before I knew it, my 4:00 am alarm woke me up. I did have really long and vivid dreams though.
Tonight I begin my adjustment to the Everyman sleep schedule. I plan on sleeping from 1 to 4 am, then taking a 20 minute nap at 9am, 2pm, and 7pm. I have a feeling the 4 am wake up is going to be tough at first but for an extra 5 hours in the day, I'll give it a shot for a few weeks before school starts. And if I can pull it off, then I plan on continuing through Jr year.
