Thread: mybe invented new LD tech. ( SILD )

i call it SILD gonna try it tonight ill post and say how it went but heres how it works, u get someone to go into your room while your sleeping then get them to wisper "your dreaming" into your ear. its kinda like when you hear your alarm then it appers as something in your dream like cell phone etc. its kinda like a homemade novadreamer i guess.

SILD sound induced lucid dream.

Well yeah it has already been done ....my brother is sleeping im gonna go whisper in his ear maybe he get lucid xP.

I din't notice there was already this method. I remember the torch light version where someone shines a light onto your eyes during REM like the dream mask. But still it's a simple and neat idea....

I don't think I could get anyone to do this for me. It's possible my brother might agree, but I suspect that there's at least a 50% chance that instead of actually doing it, he'd make weird noises and talk about zombie badgers or something in an effort to make me have strange dreams.

You could record yourself saying "you're dreaming" on a cellphone, get it at a volume where it's unlikely to wake you, and set the alarm on your phone to play this in the middle of the night.

Of course, you need a phone that can do all that, or some other device with similar capabilities, but I bet most people have a phone or a computer or a mp3 player or something capable of this.

ok i tryed doing this my bro came did the thing but in my dream it was super loud so i woke up then i asked my bro how loud he said it and he said in a normal voice so im gonna try it agien and see if it works if he does it queiter.

Do you whisper it into their ear when they enter REM?
and if so how do you know?

I do this to my boyfriend sometimes. So far no success . . .

I should probably inform him that he's dreaming the next time he talks in his sleep (usually I just talk to him about the dream he's experiencing and pretend like I know what's going on). But I think that if I just told him, "You're dreaming," he'd just wake up because when I ask him too many questions about his dream he wakes up. But maybe I could say something like, "Hey, this is weird . . . it's dreamlike."?

yes u do this when they r in rem sleep and i think most poeple enter rem sleep 90min after falling alsleep but not 100% .
