i dont think sumbliminal messages are a myth, isn't that what the whole advertising industry is based off?
Um... no.

SM was based on one instance a few decades ago in which split-second images of popcorn, coke, etc. were inserted in a film, and sales of the products rose a little bit. After that, numerous tests have been conducted proving that SM has no factual basis.[/b]
that's not true, the tests prove that SM is very possible, very factual, and very useful. subliminal messages are very similar to hypnosis, as they both tap into your unconscious mind to plant thoughts into your head. subliminal messages are used in this day an age to help people overcome problems, google the term "subliminal messages" and you'll get plenty of sites that tell you (possibly sell you, but you get the idea) how to use subliminal messages to your benefit. it is in no way a myth or un-factual, but thats just my opinion...
