When going to bed at night, I plug my CD player into the speakers, and wait for the beeps, which signal me to do reality checks. ( the salcube.com timer )
I always sit in bed, get alarmed by the beeps, and then do my reality checks.

However, as many of you may know, it is not easy to fall asleep when in this situation. It keeps you awake, anticipating; like the night before christmas.

Last night, I actually turned off the CD player, unplugged the speakers, and I fell asleep with little problem after.

Even after waking up hours later to attempt a WBTB, I could not fall asleep knowing that I was waiting for the beeps.

This problem is why I will probably never use the beep system again.
And why im trying the "Anchor" lucid aid tonight.
