      Smile Binarual Beats

Well. I heard of binarual beats a long time ago. I experimented and tried them. Never worked.
Now poeple said you have to be in the dark and listen to the sounds.
Well, first off. Go to I-doser.com and read about it.
And I want you to tell me if anyones had experience with this.
I think it could work if you were to apply meditation and except the sounds.
I think thats the problem I had, I was to focused on other things.
This may sound illogical but to me its a hypothesis and I intend to do it.
It also has a beat for lucid dreams. So uh. Thanks ?

I heard about I-Doser on these forums, and I set up playlists where I would listen to the LD track. These helped me become very relaxed and get my arms and legs to go numb, but I noticed that starting the day I began listening to the binaural beats, my dream recall has gone to hell. I am naturally a very, very vivid dreamer, to the point where I didn't even bother keeping a dream journal. I'm not sure if this is coincidence or cause, but I will never use those sounds again. I also experienced headaches all day after listening to the tracks at night in the dark lying in bed. On the other hand, http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=56608 read what I just posted. I didn't use binaural beats and I don't think I will ever waste time trying again!

They never helped me. They gave me a headache and caused me to have strange audio hallucinations (basically, hearing weird noises). If you're going to try it, you MUST wear headphones.

I-doser... Is that the pay one? I use sleephones tracks. They are super relaxing for me, and I get to sleep easily with them. Also, they are great for meditation. Occasionally, the room is too quiet after I take them off! (On nights when the fishtank is fully filled, and there are no water noises XD)

Still, nothing's proven with these. Placebo it may be, but the humming waves remind me to focus my thoughts.

Yea, you "usually" have to pay, but I got a hold of "free" tracks.

I tried i-doser in dark, with headphones and while meditation.
I can say that all those who think they get anything out of it by listening to it through speakers or such won't get anything out of it.
neither do they who got it on the ipod run around stressed with a cup of coffee in the hand unless they use some dose to calm them down.
Dark, headphones and being calm and focused and you might feel something

I'm using Brainwave Generator for some time now, playing mostly my own presets, and it works fine. Helps me to relax before sleep, sleep better and have more vivid dreams. In fact, binaural beats always work for me.

Hm, I have tried iDoser, I have found them to work, if not get me to the point where I can manually induce them (Lucid dreaming file). Depends on the person most likely.

The thing is that you need to be carefull of where you download this stuff from. Binaural beats have been subject of research for many years and they have proved to work. However, not everyone can create these tracks and offer them online...get them only from specialized sites that you trust.

This thread has a "recipe" for a lucid dreaming track. Listening to it has gotten me closer to a WILD than I ever have before. There is also some discussion on what to add to the track. Good read for someone interested in playing with beats some more.
