My foot started twitching uncontrollably last night.

So I was laying there, focusing on my breathing and relaxing my body. I was probably laying down for about 60-70 minutes when my left foot just started twitching uncontrollably. I got really scared.

Does this have anything to do with lucid dreaming, or is it just an early symptom of something like parkinsons?

Yes. You are getting Parkinsons from sleeping.

Its like "I have a head-ache...I must have a brain tumor".

Do a search here on "Sleep Paralysis".
That should explain how we normally get this every night.

Yeah, but i was able to move as soon as I got freaked out by it. I thought in sleep paralysis you were frozen?

There are different levels of SP.
I often change position with no bother after feeling numb or vibration when I am not trying to go Lucid.
Read through our threads and you will see all.
I have no problem helping you till end of time, but those sorts of comments are a bit ridiculous.

Insomnia, sleep apnea, muscle twitches, and lucid dreaming?

I've had weird involuntary movements like that before, usually when I'm on the verge of falling asleep. Nothing to worry about.
