I have experience SP before, and it always happens in the morning. Here is what my weekend sleep routine is. I go to sleep at about 1 or 130 and set my alarm for 7, 845 and 1030 which is when I finally wake up, but I have always done this, this is not something to help LD. I do this so I dont wake up at whenever it is I have to wake up and say "Damn I have to get up now?!!?" but if you set the alarm an hour or two early you can be like "Oh 2 more hours to sleep yessssss!" (please someone back me up on this, b/c my roomate thinks im crazy). Anyways I thought since I already set my alarms liek this I could use it to help start an LD. Anyways I had one question. When trying to LD do you have to sleep on your back?? b/c the only time I have had SP
(or at least I think its SP, what happens for me is I start to fall asleep and notice im am I feel tingly and start to sink into my bed and I hear what sounds like bed springs being pushed on.......very realistic sound haha, and then I enter a green vortex thing, or just all blackness. then something will scare the hell outa me like an ominous laughing I know im dreaming kinda, but all i see is black or swirly green and then I am unable to open my eyes. THats what really gets me I cant open them no matter how hard I try and it feels as though I am using every muscle in my face, then i start to wiggle my toes then feet and then I can open my eyes and Im out of it. I guess this is SP but everyone I have heard from says they are totally awake and their eyes are open when it happens. Anyone have something similar to mine?? or is this just strange?)
Is when I lay on my back (an unnatural and uncomfortable position for me) i usually sleep on my side. nut I was just wondering is this true for everyone or just me. I just didn't know if you had to be on your back or not.
okay thats alot of Q's, thanks in advance for any replies, John
