This is a pretty good FAQ site. http://brain.web-us.com/dreamfaq.htm
If physicists say that matter is frozen light, and Stars symbolize both angels and people alike in the bible, then what does that make you?(angel)?

Hii Im new to Lucid Dreaming I was wondering if I could get some help How do you convert wave files to Mp3 using LAME? I've downloaded the program LAME but not sure how to use it I have followed guru's instructions and have successfully changed the downloaded bwgen file into a wave.

      Check out http://www.lucidquest.com/

It's like BWGEN, but the bi-aural waves are programmed into real music. So it might be more comfortable to listen to.
There's samples on the site, which work quite nicely.

I just downloaded BWGen, but nowhere on their website could I find which preset should be used for lucid dreaming. I saw "Sleep induction (general)" and "Sleep induction (wide awake)" but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with WILD or lucid dreaming in general. I imagine its "The awakaned mind" since it has 4 different sounds, with the lower frequencies increasing volume as time goes by. Not sure if that's the right one though.

I'm getting excited about tonight! Vitamin B6 with Melatonin gave me a very vivid dream after a week of no recalls. Might've had to do with me getting scared and waking up in the middle of the dream... long story, had to do with a half meter long caterpillar not letting go of my leg , and a friend getting a bow and arrow and aiming at the caterpillar (and thus my leg). That's what friends in dreams are for . I might post the story on another forum.

I'll try to keep looking which preset is best for the BWGen, but in worst of cases I'll just use "The awakaned mind" one with vitamin B6 and the melatonin. Ahhh lucidity... there you go, come closer, closer... I almost got you.

The preset isn't a built-in one, you'll have to make it yourself. There's a tutorial for using the BWgen to induce an LD on this site, in the tutorials section.

Though 'The Awakened Mind' might have quite interesting results...someone should try that.

I built a pretty nice preset from the instructions in the tutorial, which are indeed very helpful. When I can get the headphones and the volumes to be comfortable, the sound actually helps me relax, but I feel as if the sound "keeps reminding me" that I am actually awake, so the time it takes me to fall asleep ends up being about the same as without BWGen.

Does anyone else yawn an extreme amount of times when using the program? I noticed I start yawning almost as soon as I start listening to the sounds. Also my nose tends to be runny, and my eyes get really watery each time I yawn. Overall though, I haven't noticed whether it actually improve my dreams.

This is the link for the tutorial if anyone else is interested in making his or her own preset. for BWGen.
