      Controlling LDs

      Hello,

I've had 1 WILD so far and 1 DILD, and I seem to have a problem controlling my dreams. Here's the story so far:

I had a WILD after realizing I was dreaming and having an FA. I looked at my clock and saw nothing showed up on the display and there was a magazine which I hadn't received yet on my nightstand. I COULD control my dreams, but I did exactly what I didn't care about doing. I went into another room and went to sleep. If I were more aware, I think, I would actually do something worthwhile.

I had a DILD about a month later. I was in my bathroom, and I looked in the bathtub and saw a clone of myself. I did an RC (plugged my nose and I could breathe), but after that, I somehow lost my lucidity after like two seconds, had a false awakening, forgot to RC, and then never became lucid.

What could I do to improve my state of mind when I'm lucid so I don't do something unconsciously with which I would lose my lucidity?

      Thanks!

I'd say just go on LDing. It will get better naytime you have an LD.

And one more thing: Whenever you wake up make an RC, that way FAs won't be a problem

Some people find rubbing their hands together or spinning in circles helps.
