      Need some suggestions, WILD after sleep deprivation

      I only slept 6 hours two days ago, and I didn't sleep last night and I've never had much luck with wild's, and I expect myself to crash pretty fast after I lie down, so, basic wild tips I can use?
      Things done in LD dreams : Levitated other people, stopped cars, made people speak gibberish...

      Good luck dude i tried sleep deprivation i only made to the 19th hour and gave up yes im a weakling. lol

      I dont know if you're going to be able to WILD while sleep deprived man, you're probably going to end up crashing. But in any case, just apply the basic WILD principles which are remaining completely still while taking slow, deep breaths until you reach SP. Here's a post of mine for extra detail (disregard step 1):

      8. Continue step 7 until you feel that sudden rush of falling through your bed or through the ceiling (in my case); this should mean that SP is complete, and hence you are ready to dream.

      9. If you are not already in a dream scene, then spin around or rub your hands together (or both) in order to conjure up one. Doing this can also stabilize a fading/blurry dream scene.

      There you have it, those are pretty much all the steps I take when Im attempting a WILD. And if it doesnt work the first time, remember that it takes time so dont give up! I know it seems like a lot, but once you've been through it many times, you will become better and better at it.

      I wouldn't recommend sleep depriving your self.

      Instead just wake up really early for 3 days in a row. Say 4 am.

      This will deprive your body of only the REM sleep.

      Then on the 4th day sleep in as long as you want. Preferably till 10am or more.

      Your body should overcompensate for the lack of REM sleep on the past few days and give you a ton of it.

      Also your body will think you should be awake since you woke up early the previous 3 days. This will put you in a prime condition for multiple lucid dreams.

      I like this idea im gonna try it Just wondering how well doe's it work? And how many hour's of sleep should you get the first few night's ?

      Ive did a 3 times and had multiple lucids seemingly all morning long each time.
      I learned it by diong it by accident. Like on a busy or travel weekend.

      Waking up at 4 am for 2-3 nights should starve your body of enough REM to get a really good REM rebound overload.

      Forget about that damn REM phase, just get over it. REM sleep has hardly anything to do with lucid dreaming. It just happens to coincide with increased recall because it's more easy to remember those experiences when you sleep lightly.

      And sleeping for 6 hours then getting up for 1 hour is a myth too. Even LaBerge admits this particular pattern is just the best of 3 or so they have tested. Everyone who is experienced with astral projection can tell you that all you need is one cycle of sleep.

      You just don't want to hurt the sleep mechanism by interrupting slow wave sleep, that's all. Without proper suggestions you will need 10 alarm clock to wake up but hey, your chances at "lucid dreaming" are increased ten fold.

      That sounds pretty interesting. I might give it a try. The only thing is, I know Im gonna end up falling asleep in the middle of the day messing up my whole REM deprivation. Oh well, Ill go for it any ways.

      Or you could try the supplement approach.

      Read about it in the book "Advanced Supplements for Lucid Dreaming"

      I currently do this and don't even have to try anymore. I have super long and multiple lucids 3 nights a week.

      Basically theres supplements that do 1 of 3 things:

      *Suppress REM sleep and promote deep sleep to help you get an REM rebound effect (melatonin, 5 HTP)

      *Trigger a lucid dream and/or force strong REM sleep (galantamine, choline, GPC, nicotine, Yohimbe)

      *Create wild and powerful dreams with enhanced control and confidence (mucuna pruriens)

      It pretty simple what I do actually:
      Suppress the REM sleep and get your deep sleep by taking a 5HTP at 10:30pm then set the alarm to wake up at 4 am and take a galantamine and a choline. Lying awake in bed for at least a half hour, then attempt to WILD. This should make wilding at least 10 times easier for you. If you don't wild you will DILD for sure.

      Alot of people don't like paying for, or taking supplements but I'm used to it cause I take alot of supplements for my workout schedule and they've never did anything but benefit me.

      Thank's runflacruiser for the reply. Im going to give this a go and see what happen's. But i probaly have to wait til after this week to give it a try. Ill post if I have any result's
