      Cell RCs

I doubt I'm the first one who's done this, but please don't give me shit about millions of people who have already said the same thing. I just thought this was a good idea.

SO, I put a picture that says "YOU ARE DREAMING" on the screen of my cell phone, so now everytime I go to check the time or see if I have any missed calls/texts, I am reminded to do an RC. Not only that, but it doubles as subliminal messages, cause even if you don't really acknowledge it and do an RC, you are still being told that you are dreaming constantly throughout the day.

      Whatcha think, eh??

Haha, I like the way you think! Ive been doing that for about a week now except I put 3 memos in my calender that say "Am I Dreaming" and go off at 12pm, 6pm, and 10pm everyday.
But Im going to use your way too and take a picture of a sign that asks that same question. That way I will have extra back up to go along with the memos!

The only problem I have with these methods is... what about the dreams where you don't have your cell phone or your memos don't go off?

well really its like the whole computer subliminal messages, if you've ever heard of that. its a program that you put on your computer that pops up something that says your dreaming and your not even supposed to pay attention to it. so if you do that a lot, your subconcious takes it in, idk how to explain it ha but yea, you dont dream about a computer telling you, or your phone in this case, its just the words. damn that probably didnt make any sense haha

yeaa i just went on paint, made a black background and put big red letters that say "YOU ARE DREAMING" simple enough i dont get hardly any lucids so ill let you know if its working over the next couple days. but even with reality checks it helps a lot like normally i dont think about dreaming hardly at all during the day, especially when im out doing stuff, but today i thought about it a ton.

I like the idea. And I don't think having your cellphone in your dream is a problem, I mean, as long as the question is there and you're doing a reality check, it should be fine if my understanding of RCs is right. As far as I knew, as long as you're questioning if you're dreaming or not, it helps.

Yeah, it works as subliminal message and as a possible RC. Dreams are usually a recollection of our days so eventually, after doing the cell phone RCs for a couple of days, you will check your your cell phone in the dream, and after doing the cell phone RC so many times, you will know at that very moment that you're dreaming.
The only reason it hasnt worked yet, Id guess because we havent been doing it long enough; so it needs time like every other RC.

Exactly, I didnt always do RCs until I started setting those memos but yeah let me know if it works for you and Ill let you know if it works for me.

      I agree.

Better IMO to find something you see both in dreams regularly as well as in waking life.

Well, part of the point of this is to do it frequently enough to the point where you might start checking your phone in your dream, and hence becoming lucid. You see what I mean? But Idk, it may or may not work, I guess we'll see in a few more days/weeks.
