      DILD Strange Problem

I have gotten my dream recall up to about 3 to 4 dreams a night, when repeating the mantra "Tonight I will Remember My Dreams" the night before. I've done that for a number of weeks now and started looking for dream signs and becoming lucid. The night before I now say "I will remember to recognize I"m dreaming". And wake up the next morning with nothing. Any suggestions?

Try to become less dependent on the auto suggestion for recall, then try to use it to inspire LDs.

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

Try to combine the two desires in to one or two sentences like: "I will rember my dreams. I will become aware that I am dreaming." Or whatevver works for you. It is best to keep autosuggestion clear and short, but two short sentences are okay. You can also do one sentence for a while, then the other.

Unless you can find a way to dream right away. Sleep stages will always hinder you to lucid dream. You can try your luck with a later time slot after 6 hours of sleep. Usually there is only stage 2 aka light sleep before REM so higher chance for your intent getting through.... If that dosen't work then you have to get your intent through during light sleep before REM which is for me 1 hour 15 min after I went to bed. You wake up during that time and do your intent thingy and hope you REM about what you intended.

what works for me personaly is that i say to myself over and over again "i will be aware that i am dreaming. i will wake up at the end of dream." the reason for this is that u remember ure dreams wen u wake up during dream. i hope this helps

Maybe autosuggestion isnt the best technique for you. I suggest trying to get into the habit of doing reality checks all the time and constantly beaing aware of your surroundings.
      Pardon me while I burn,
      and rise above the flames.

Insanity is the mind's only effective defense against reality.
sometimes dreams are so good that it hurts to wake up... .
