Thread: Does noise effect dreaming/lucid dreaming?

i usually leave my computer on overnight and the fans on the computer usually help me WILD and it never effects my recall i have great recall

Sometimes I fall asleep listening to godspeed you black emperor or esmerine or something like that...

It always seems to make my dreams incredibly epic.

Check my dream journal plus studies with entering from Ganzfeld states. But it really depends on the noise. Air Condition is a form of white noise; the odds are probably slim to none that it will help in recall. If you were using some binaural beats with white noise w/Theta levels then yes sound can assist with recall. But note its the tone frequencies not the white noise that is most likely assisting. White noise is easily filtered out by the brain, not sure why this happens.

God damn it. Every time i see that display pic i always reach for my screen to wipe off the fake bug.

I've had a few dreams when I heard my radio playing in the dream. I haven't had it effect the imagery, but the events were altered. People said lines of lyrics instead of what they normally would.

I never thought to use the fan. I'm going to have to try that now.
