Finally a Lucid Dream =) Some questions, please help

Hey guys just wanted to ask some questions and tell you about my lucid dream last night.

I drifted off with the words still repeating in my mind over and over, I will have a vivid long lasting Lucid Dream. I fell asleep almost instantly and ended up in my kitchen... Did a reality check and realized I was dreaming. So many things flooded my mind at once I started to lose lucidity, It felt as if my mind and body were thinking and moving ten times faster than usual. One thing I find extremely frustrating is every time I enter a Lucid Dream my sexual thoughts completely take over and I either waste my time doing that or wake up. But anyways, I then find myself out of my kitchen and In some random hotel. When this extremely attractive girl runs by...which I can control myself...until I realize she is completely naked...>.< So I bugger off and do that for a bit, Find myself once again starting to lose lucidity so I look at my hands, start to spin and tell myself outloud for more control and vividness. Im back at my house but when I open the front door this huge crowd of people is standing there, and all of which I do not know at all. I feel like seeing my friend so I start to call his name.. JARRETT!!! JARRETT!! then in the distance i see someone. Almost as if they are transforming from themselves into my friend, Which freaked me out but i stayed beside him until he was fully turned into my friend. At this point I am constantly doing reality checks to remind myself I am dreaming. We walk back into my kitchen when all of a sudden his girlfriend is standing beside him and she hands me two cards. Both saying happy birthday with poems inside. I read the one from his girlfriend and have a feeling that I recognize it from somewhere, so i grab a pen and try to write some parts down, as i am writing i feel as if Im losing lucidity so i stop, reality check and spin. I go outside once more and tried to Fly on top of my roof. Everytime I fly I get that weird feeling in my stomach as if im falling, and another problem is that when i try to fly i can only leap for short distances. So im on the roof and i jump off. Go back inside and then all i see is blackness. No no no no don't lose lucidity....I open my eyes, and the best part was the entire dream felt as if I experienced 2 hours atleast and I was only asleep for 10 minuets.

      Now for my questions

How can I be more focused? I really want to slow things down, maybe after I realize im lucid I could Sit down and gather my thoughts?

I am having trouble having the control i want, I have read that in order to have lots of control you should be passive aggressive, instead of just shooting off commands into the universe, explain why each thing should happen. ect. I want a rocket launcher, and i should have one in my closet across the room because my dad bought me one for Christmas.. even if the answers are not logical I have heard it is easier to maintain control with the passive technique.

The main thing is Focus really..... I want to be able to spend as much time possible being lucid, and doing what I really want instead of sex taking over my mind.

Before you even do anything...start spinning or rub your hands until they feel warm. Prolonging the dream is imperative if you want it to be fulfilling. Most people forget this step when they realise it's a dream and they lose it the minute they get lucid. I find it helps to organize your lucid dreaming experience that your gonna have into steps. 1) Make prolonging the dream the first thing to do when you realise you are dreaming. 2) Plan what you want to do in advance, not when you are lucid 3) Fight the urge to wake up...takes practise. It's like keeping your head above water when you float on your back. 4) Tackle control problems if they arise. Control comes with an excuse that a dream element can be controlled. For example I have a problem with making things appear. I bought a remote control unit to use in the dream and it worked when I was lucid. It took a while for it to work but it did eventually because I really believed it to work.

Have more SEX before you go lucid. If you don't have a partner then you can always...you know......did I said that out loud

I understand your problem as one that I have had in the past, so I just thought I would offer you something that I have learned myself.

About 8 years ago I was experiencing a very advanced level of lucidity and could easily attain clarity within my dream almost immediately. Well, no matter how hard I tried during the day to promise myself I would not waste every lucid dream having sex........I would immediately after becoming lucid, find the first woman that I saw and have my way with her...hehe. I couldnt resist. It was just too tempting and fun!

Anyway, I would wake up and regret the wasted opportunity every time, so I understand......

The advice that I would like to give you is simple, and something that I have learned through the years. I can now maintain a fair level of self control on a consistent basis. The nice thing is that you have a choice:

      1. Accept and make it your intention during the day, that when you attain lucidity, you will eventually give in to your more overwhelming desires like flying, sex, deeper prayer, or psychic information, but to first enjoy the dream environment in a clear and controlled way. In other words, save the heavy stuff for last.

      Or

      2. Practice self control and mindfulness when having sex or other things that might bring you out of your self control in every day life. Sex & masturbation can be an experience that you can easily lose yourself through by means of emotion or imagination; or can be experienced with complete control and awareness. Very similar to the dream world. I think you might understand what I mean.

Hope thats not too intense man...but I took your question to be sincere. Good luck, and maybe some of what I have learned and experienced might help you.

      Take care.

That sounds like a great dream. It is hard to keep from getting distraced in dreams. I find it helps to have a definite plan laid out ahead of time. Give yourself a concrete goal, and reherse it during the day. Trying to think up something to do while lucid can get pretty crazy.

Once I'm lucid, I normally try to go with the flow. I try to implement my dream control as passively as possible. I just hold my goal in my mind, and trust that I will make it happen on a subconscious level. For example, if I want to walk on water, I don't zoom off looking for some water, or try to teleport to the beach. I just think to myself, "Oh I remember, I am going to walk on water in this dream. I wonder how that will happen." Of course, this is only for general goals.

haha yeah My first and only real vivid and long lasting lucid I had, it just started with my standing in another room and I tried sumoning a street bike in my garage. I opened the door, wasn't there, closed the door, looked down and said ,"Alright, I can do this." So I open the door, and there was the back of a motor bike. I can't recall the rest of the dream to this day, but those images are clear as day still.
