      weird phase

      Since I've joined Dream Views my LD skills improved from nothing in no time at all. But I've still haven't had a nice long satisfying LD yet. For almost a week now, I'll become lucid for a very short amount of time, shorter than usual, randomly throughout the night. For example, last night i was being chased in a dream and I needed to unlock a door, to get away. The key didn't work the first time i tried it. I suddenly become lucid, and think to myself Its just a dream, if I know it will fit, and unlock the door, then it will. And that's just what happened. it seems when I fix a problem or block of some sort, I lose lucidity. Any help or input would be appreciated.

      Keep trying. All I can say. You'll eventually learn to stop and stabilize.

      I allways forgot about doing reality checks, and I just go stright to find a door!
      its like I randomly say "I am dreaming" without even thinking about it! and everything is in slow motion when it happens.. (thats my best dream sign is slow motion)

      Just paus for a second calm down and relize that you are dreaming and take in your soroundings no mater what, then you should be lucid longer.

      I had a dream like that the same night. I was dreaming i was in front of a boat, then an alarm went off saying "get in cab 6" or something like that. I just hopped in, and when I did, we started going over a huge waterfall. Somebody then yelled "He said the back, you dummy!" as i was at the front of the boat free falling. I become lucid, position my self towards the back, and I'm back off to dreamland.

      Read "Seeker28", and "Shift" posts respectively this will answer your question on how to solve your problem, do some more investigating before asking a rather easily solved question.

      If you are lucid you should just expect youself to be able to fly, or don't get hurt when you hit the ground.
      If you are not lucid you should RC, and hope you are lucid or else you are in some trouble XD
