Thread: Do you tell fibs about having LDs?

He's been on the liar kick since atleast June 20th, 2008:
"Men just tend to be bigger liars about it. If a young male has a screen name like "Lucid Master," he's probably never had an LD.
And people who say that LDs are all fun are lying too. LDs are just as apt to be unpleasant as ordinary dreams are." (found here)


Also, Arne seems to think Dreams are reality, and that killing/fighting a dream character in a dream is just as evil and wicked as murdering a person in reality (found here)
"And to the person who said that it's "just a fictional situation" -- even if that's true, which I don't acknowledge, then you're an ass for wanting to hurt something. Why do you want to do that?"

Also, check out the very next page of that thread, where he equates fighting a dream character to waterboarding a real, live human being... where he also says that "More than a few people people have said that they have lucid dreams all the time, but when they've join my group, that ability has mysteriously disappeared."

There's that good ol' elitism again. We're all faking unless we join his group... and even then, we're faking still until we learn to do it his way.


About that group of his, the description explains a lot:

"This is not a group where members post. Instead, members receive tasks from the moderator to carry out in lucid dreaming. They report their experiences to him."

There's that control freak thang again. You guys should really check out that thread in it's entirety, it's full of gems like this one:

"Let me ask again -- do you torture and kill women and children in your dreams? Or is it only men?"

Here he is with the whole "message me and i'll tell you how to do it" thing again, because a forum is a dumb place to post ideas, and I need to initiate you into my group on one-way communication.


At this point, you may be asking what it is about the Great Arne's dreams that make them so much superior than ours? Well you can find the reason here:

Because, as he says on June 21st: "The fact that some little creep invariably finds this thread and drags it back up every few weeks says something terrible about the kind of people who are attracted to this web site.

Most of them have probably never had a lucid dream in their lives anyway."

oh yeah, he also says this there:
"The question is, why does this web site attract people like you and the other juvenile creeps who have posted their sick fantasies in this thread?"

I dunno, Arne, why does this site attract people like you, who are clearly far superior to us, and cause them to stick around for 9+ months to tell us how much we all lie and fake LDs?


If you need any other proof that this kid is a joke/troll/hack or a Hack of a Joking Troll, search for posts he's made... I found all of this and more just in the first page of eleven+ that appear when searching for his posts.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand...

I think what he's getting at, by his clearly mentally illness related lack of distinction between reality and dreams is that this Cynthia girl would give us all a specific definition, and anyone who got a different answer than his was a liar.

Arne, I see that you've been here since atleast February, if not longer, insisting that we're all faking... well if you're having real lucid dreams that are so much better than our "fibs", why are you wasting your time here with us instead of dreaming your life away in Utopia?

Anyone else starting to think that Arne is really the one who's never had an LD in his life, and he's projecting that on to us because he feels like such a failure?

Well all I can say is... I personally don't give a fat rat's crack who else is having or not having lucid dreams. So long as I'm having them I'm happy lol!

I don't see the big deal. He wants to do an "experiment", let him. If you don't want to participate, don't. It doesn't make anyone look any better than he by attacking him. If anything, you (general) look just as bad, if, indeed he is a troll or whatever you all call them.

At first, I was all like 'what an idiot' because it pissed me off he was trying to call people liars. I sat back, thought about it and realized, what is the big deal? I know I don't lie, so I'm not going to get all huffy and puffy. I think those who are getting all riled up are either insecure, or want to prove something, what? I have no clue. If anything, just ignore him. Why stir up anything? I never understood that on message boards. I guess people are bored, and want entertainment.
