But it had a lot to do with you visualising aswell did it not? :S
After looking after a picture i'm sure you had thoughts racing through your head... possibly images? I dunno, im just not sussed that you could LD by emotion alone however I hope im wrong.

No, I dint have a lucid dream or dream anything about my friends. I dint visualize..
Think, I should experiment with this? And then maybe make a tut? I would have to look into all possible reasons why this happens and all that

I don't think that depression will give you lucidity. If that were the case then I and a number of other people would be lucid every night. I think it's more so a unique instance of a strong emotion, not depression itself. After a really good day or a really stressful exam I tend to have lucid dreams.

Anyway, see http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=6881 for the Research Guidelines. If you think it will work, send an experiment proposal to someone on the staff, and head over to the research forums(http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=32) for discussion and to recruit participants. Once studies have been conducted we can establish if it is really able to induce lucidity.

it could acually induce one, depresion may stimulate the brain, therefore making you more aware.

it could also help towards a wild, because it keeps the mind awake, but your body may still fall asleep
