      Patterns?

I've been having them once every weekend recently. Is it possible to increase the frequency just by allowing this pattern to continue? Also, thinking straight comes with practice, right?

Having lucid dreams at exact times (relative terms, exact could mean weekly).

Your having dreams at certain times?

Do you mean like having a lucid dream every Monday? That's pretty cool. I'm not sure how you would make them occur more, except for doing the usual RC and dream journal.

      Keep going at it though!

You need to look at your life style patterns on those days. What do you do different on those days that you dont on the others? If anything, it is encouraging that you will have an LD at least once a week.

      I sleep longer (and I don't keep a DJ...)

Haha, oh man. Well try taking a break from the DJ and get more sleep. The best thing to do in every situation, is do what gets you the results you want. Try to make your sleep pattern and wake up rituals similar to that on the days you have LDs. You can always change it again if you find it is not working.

It may be possible if like said above you re-create the routine that you have on the day in which you experience the LD. Other than that though it may be a fluke, and you are just having lucid dreams on the weekends.

The reason for this could be is that you don't have the stress of schoolwork on such days if you are going to school. And naturally people usually tend to get more sleep on the weekends and are generally more comfortable and relaxed. This could be the reason.
