      WILDs... How?

Here's what happened about three minutes ago...
I was attempting a WILD, doing everything I was told, focus on breathing, etc. Eventually, I got a minor numbing sensation, but it only went as far as my arms. Then, light came over my vision, and I THOUGHT I was feeling my bed vibrate. It turned out to be just my heart pumping blood through my arteries at a million miles an hour. So I gave up and turned my iPod on to write this epic fail
Does anyone else currently have this problem or has had it? How do you overcome it? Thanks!

From what i have read that is not a failure

      Thats how a WILD starts.

I was told to imagine myself rising from your bed but with your mind only. Try that?

Me thinks you gave up right at the wrong time.

Sounds like you were on the edge of Sleep Paralysis. You were probably excited on feeling the beginnings of SP, so now just relax and let your body fall asleep.

The same thing happens to me only its just my legs that become numb, how long does it usually take to fall into SP?

The problem I found was as your body goes numb and you feel things change, you tend to tense up a bit, trying to make things happen more.
The trick IMO is to keep relaxing as said above, even when full SP hits (like electric shock feelings etc).
It is very hard but seems to simulate as if you weren't awake, as normal.
      Hope that makes sense.

One thing I always wanted to do was sit and meditate into a WILD. That would be the greatest thing ever, to just say, "Hmm, i think I wanna fly to the moon", sit down and meditate into a lucid where you do just that. I doubt anyone who could do that would never feel any kind of depression or anxiety ever again!

It is being done by many. Just not many here.
I am working towards this now, but it takes a lot of time and practice.
