maybe I should have said FOR narratives, since I mean that the images would help me to narrate a planned dream.

How do you use these images? Do you pick a new one daily? Are you mixing them into a story narrative?

I find this thread fantastic.
How many of us lay there trying to think up a scene.
We can use these and memorise them in detail and lose ourselves in them
with imagery at bedtime, or use them as a start point to dream in for LDs.

I know! I alwayd have trouble visualizing, because I'm perfectionist regarding details. Do you have any resources (i.e. videos/pics) you can link to?

go on google images, type in something like mountains, forest, woods, peaks, snow, ocean, space, planets, etc., and click "large images" or "extra large images"

BUMP = "Bring Up My Post". You do it to keep your post on the first page or at the top of the first page once nobody has replied in a while.

It means that a thread has been inactive, and you wish for it to be 'bumped' up to the top of active threads so you do so by posting a nonsense post ('bump') to get more views. If you're going to do something like that, at least put some thought or reflection or an update into the post so that it's not a simple bump but a decent response. If it's been a couple of days, maybe made it a few pages back, you can post something like "So, it's been a while and I have only been able to find similar stuff on this site. Has anyone got anything else they can add to this?" or something like that.

And if it has been less than 12, 24, 36 hours, there is absolutely no reason to be bumping a post. Even if it's been a day. More importantly, this thread has 174 views and 11 responses, five of which are about bumping. The problem isn't that people aren't seeing it.

Anyway, regarding the OP- have you done a search for images like this? I know on Mortal Mist they had a pretty good thread going with stuff like this, I'll try to find it for you.

Thos pictures are awesome Shift. I actually was looking at the snowy forest one the day I read this thread and that nightmy dream was in that setting. It was lucid which really blows but it was vivid and pretty awesome stuff.
