      Excellent example of visual illusions. People put so much faith into the five basic senses but they are so surceptable to illusion. "I'll believe it when I see it" ... lol

      Well yes. As I said at the top of the thread,
      "see how your mind interprets what it thinks it sees".
      In other words it makes you realise how you can't always believe what you see.
      The need for re-checking the waking and dream states.

      These are perfect examples of even in the "waking" state, we can see things that aren't really there.
      We can use this proof and knowledge in questioning our dreams too for lucidity induction.
