      Help!? Was this a WILD???

I'm new to the forum and I'm very glad I joined! All my life I've had very vivid, long, crazy, fun, dreams. I've also always had lucid dreams through DILD, being in a dream and realizing it was a dream.

Yesterday, I was on this site for a while and read alot about WILD. I tried it early this morning. My boyfriend left for work at 7 am and it is my day off. So around 8 I began the thinking and relaxation process of WILD, i started seeing curtains of light across my lids and felt relaxed. Then my cat woke me up AGAIN! At this point I was annoyed and wanted to simply fall asleep, it was 9 am now, so I got comfortable, stated only once that I would control my dream and I drifted off to sleep without activly trying to keep my mind awake.....
This is where I'm confused....at some point I began to see the back of my eyelids again (but there was no bodily vibrations, numbing) I focused on one image that was circular, I said to myself I must focus on it, when I did it suddenly became a bright red apple. I then knew I was begining to dream, then the apple seemed to suck me in and BOOM I was in dream land. I came in with full control and used it as a "training ground", I focused on things for details, I made small things appear, I also had a few false awakenings. After attempting to fly, it started to become hard to hold my dream so I decided I would wake up for good, and I did, in my real bed and wrote down my experience in my dream journal..... So was WILD what brought me into the dream state? It doesn't seem to follow any of the other WILD experiences I've read

      Any thoughts are appreciated

That was a WILD. Definately. Good job I am pretty bad at WILDing. When I WILD I see a scene and run into it.
