Thread: Another possible RC

Now you have your own personal reality check,
You can use it as a backup for when RCs start to fail after you use them so much.

They start failing when you use them too much?

I couldn't find the thread but, It's kinda common sence because pretty soon like lets say you do the RC where you stick your finger through your hand all the time (like everytime you stand up etc) Obviously your finger wont go through your hand in the real world and if you do it too much your mind will make it to where it wont go through your hand.Basically to sum it all up for you

If you use a rc too much then it will start to fail in dreams because your so used to seeing it fail in real life.

Of course im not trying to say don't do RCs in dreams but I mean like, Don't do the same one constantly during the day..
so therefor if the RCs start failing anytime you can use your own personal reality check.

And this probably wont ALWAYS happen. but it could happen from time to time.
Ive only had 2 LDs but im absolutely addicted to this forum and I think Ive read every thread (well not really but ive read alot!)

'cause if you're used to the fact that when you poke your fingers threw your hand, it doesn't work, you will be assuming that its not gonna work in the dream to, in brief it won't work? is that it?

Don't pay attention to what he said, it's the biggest load of bull ever. Keep up your reality checking, make sure to pause and state test every time, and just like any reality check always have a few backups. No, over time your reality check will not stop working. It may actually start working even better. That's how it's been with me.
