      for couch potatoes/computer users

right if you watch a lot of TV and/or are constantly using a computer for large portions throughout the day try this-

1.take a small piece of paper and write "true" or something similar in nice large readable letters and scotch tape it somewhere near your screen (not necessarily on the monitor but somewhere close where it can be seen by a quick glance without turning your head).

2.wait for it so say either 'false" or "tr33l"

      3.have a good LD

I just came up with this today, but hopefully it'll help as looking at it once qualifies as a reality check as long as you remember the significance of it.

additionally if you are not afraid of what other ppl think you can make a bunch of these and scotch tape em throughout your house, work cubicle, car and route to work
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

I spend most of my spare time on the computer, but strangely enough I cannot remember ever encountering one in my dreams. In fact I'm never in my house/room at all, so any post it note system would never work.

Now that i think about it, I've only ever used a computer in a lucid dream. any other time i just see whats on the screen and nothing else, not even the monitor.

me too- As far as I recall i've used it in several dreams but it was always short and there were people around. The main reason for this experiment is that computers tend to really hypnotize oneself so looking at the sticker is a faster alternative to examining the hands. Also it is visible from my bed so hopefully it'll help sort out some false awakenings
