TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]
10-15min LD [ X] Article: A day in the life of an LD-er
the "Mind V.S. Body" Induction technique
Everyman 2 LD's/ sleep schedule progress
ooo I've never thought about that! If I get in the habit of RCing every time I wake that could help when I get these spells (which is VERY often) |

SP can be extremely weird, once in Sp I imagined that I had slid of my bed and broke my neck, and was convinced to the point that I started to panic and of course awoke to find myself in bed completely fine. |

recreation is our destination
That sounds just like my SP history. I started having "SPells" around 18 and I've had one atleast every couple months for the past 5 years now. Like you, I used to HATE it and freak out. Once I read on DV that it can be controlled and used to WILD I was amazed and now I attempt to control it every time (i've only had it 3 times since I've joined) I suceeded twice and then this last one happened. I still hate the feeling every time and it takes a lot of willpower to control it |

Sorry, what do you mean by control it? I thought that if you entered SP and went with it, eventually, you'll have a lucid dream. Supposdly, visualizing with all five senses while in SP will speed up the process. |

Well what I call control is what you call "going with it". I used to fight my SP "spells" all of the time, it was in control of me. However, now, I go with it as much as I can and try to have some control over it. I have never induced SP, I'll just wake up with it. What I feel is soooo intense. This sounds crazy, but I can feel my bones, I can feel waves going through every muscle, I feel my chest caving in, ugh its awful. It's getting better though because now I can get a lucid dream out of it, although I have to make it through the feelings and the whispers I hear. I think the feeling is so strong because basically my mind wakes up before my body does and what I'm feeling is my body still asleep, something that isn't supposed to happen. People actually take meds for naturally occuring SP. But my medicine is lucid dreaming |
