try different techniques, a good one is MILD |

I took 3 pills of this stuff last night, and admittedly, my dreams were a lot more vivid, and I felt another step closer to LDing. I even got up at about 4, got a drink of water, and went back to bed, but the dreams were still just dreams, (albeit awesome ones). |

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]

Now record your dreams in a dream journal and find out something thats you always notice and stands out in your dream (for me all the places like my house, my school, my friend's house look different). Whenever you notice that odd thing in your real life/dream do a reality check. |

I don't have a signature
Or do I?
I've done that for a while. But I can't record every little thing in my dreams. |

I started forcing myself to count my fingers/do a different RC every time I walked through a doorway. When I finally got in the habit of it in a couple of weeks, I got 2 lucids in 4 days - both times when I walked through a doorway in the dream. Try it! |

when starting to Lucid Dream, it's best to try as many techniques as you can and as many variations of those techniques. Never just do what the tutorials tell you. You need to modify each technique to fit the way you sleep. (for example, if a tutorial tells you to stay awake during WBTB for 15 minutes, don't do it if you know you won't be able to fall back asleep. some tutorials say that all you have to do is get out of bed, even for only a little while, but I never get out of bed for WBTB otherwise I can't get back to sleep) |

Well if you are able to realize that you have awoken during your REM cycle, you can attempt a DEILD. You should try to stay pretty still and not open your eyes and try to imagine the setting of the last dream you had. Here is a tutorial:http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=62769 |
