Whenever I hold my nose in a dream, EVERY time, and i realize that I'm dreaming i lose the dreamscape, despite my attempt to keep it by spinning and look at everything closely. What can I do to stop this? |

Well. You can try different RCs. |

Bollocks.
Hold your nose with the other hand. Your current one is throwing off the order of things. |

Try to push your finger through your hand. I used to do the nose test until one night i tried it in bed. I held my nose and didn't breathe for a long time. I got freaked out, and did a different RC. Turns out, I wasn't even dreaming. Scared the heck out of me. |

I think that happens to me sometimes. yesterday I made it into a wild and a few seconds into it everything faded away and I was back in SP. Im not sure if that is the same thing as what you experienced. |

Placebo effect. |

^mutilation of the placebo effect. This isn't like a sugar pill. I highly doubt she had the expectation that the reality check would wake her up (before the first time it happened, that is). I also doubt that she wants the effect to occur. |
