Want to have extremly vivid dreams?

Go on vacation... I went to Colorado for a month and hade extremly vivid dreams every night. Just resently went to South Carolina, had some great dreams there also...

Now I dont know if this is true for everyone... But everytime I go on vacation I look forward to sleeping, b/c its almost a forsure that ill have great dreams.

Oh and dont sleep in a parked car... Took me into major sleep paralisis, Im guessing my legs fell asleep.

Yeah thats awesome that you can LD on vacation. The only other place I have ever LDed besides my own bed was in my sister's bed when I went to visit her in Chicago. But when I dooo LD, I usually go ON vacation...hehe, if you know what I mean.

I had my first LD since trying to induce whilst I was in Spain. I wasn't even expecting to have one at all during my holiday, but I guess I was lucky.

I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that you do not sleep as deeply when sleeping in a strange place. Probably some protection mechanism that keeps your brain more alert.

      This is very true.

I went to Samoa (I know, I'm spoiled) a few weeks ago for two weeks. And every night, I slept on the beach in a little hut with no walls. The dreams I had were extremely vivid and insightful. I became lucid a few times too. I had the best dreams I ever dreamt in those two weeks. Too bad I didn't write any of them down though.....

      But yeah, vacationing=great dreaming.

      And great dreaming=
.......Then I think of my youth and of my first love-when the longing of desire was strong. Now I long only for my first longing. What is youth? A dream. What is love? The substance of a dream.

The same thing happens with me - whenever I go on vacation or am sleeping somewhere other than home, I have very wild, vivid dreams. In fact, I was thinking of starting a topic on this . I've always thought it was because of what Seeker said - that you don't get enough sleep when you're in a strange place.
