I'm trying to talk with someone who has experienced many lucid dreams. I feel as though I am very close, yet so far at the same time. I think my problem is going to bed too early (9 pm) to try and get more sleep to hopefully become lucid. However I am not tired when I go to sleep.
I think my problem for lucid dreaming is that I also accept reality far too easily. Even when dreaming about becoming lucid in my dreams, I am not aware of what I am doing until after I wake up. Talk about retarded.
Maybe I should go to bed during my normal bedtime (midnight) and awake like normal (5 am), however that doesn't give me a chance to wake up and try a WILD after 5 hours of sleep, as I am already awake.
One more thing: I wake up constantly throughout the night. Usually this is after a dream. Is this a good thing and am I on the right path towards lucidness? I wake up at least 3 times a night.
