I've used one, and one reality check only for the past two years. |

I've been using my watch more. It seems to be pretty reliable so far. I've only used it in a dream a couple of times now. But each time it worked pretty well. The dream watch does some pretty weird shit, it's cool. |

i think changing RC would reset all your work, but maybe a change is good, looking at your hands is easy and (for me anyway) has a greater impact in my head therefore better success rate for becoming lucid |

I've been using the watch check, I even tried it in an LD to prove that it would work and yes it does, the numbers were rather silly! |

i think the finger through the hand method is the way to go. it's discreet, effective, and just plain fun! |

Personally I like to use a variety of reality checks. Looking at your hand is nice and discreet, but I've found that it doesn't always make me lucid. However, usually it confuses me enough when I count six fingers multiple times that I just give up and do a nose RC, then become lucid. Overall I'd say the nose RC gives me the highest chance of becoming lucid, followed by the watch RC and then the hand RC, but it probably varies from person to person. |
