Thread: Threatening

Can some people try this technique out? I want to see if it works for anybody, it's fairly simple:
Basically all you have to do is pretend that, before you're going to sleep, you're threatening yourself to have a lucid dream, like saying: "I will die if i don't have a lucid dream." And actually think it seriously, that you really ARE going to die. And hopefully you're body will give you a lucid dream.
Just an idea that popped into my head one Sunday morning (no really)

... errrrr. You try it tonight and tell us how it goes. If you don't come back, we'll assume it didn't work (or at least... the lucid dream part of it ).

Sounds like a PILD to me (punishment induced)
You could eliminate the fatal part of it, and simply threaten yourself with a cold shower ?

Personally, I prefer RILD (reward induced)
Put a chocolate next to your bed, and you're only allowed to have it the next morning - if you had a lucid dream
