Since I've started trying to LD, I haven't yet been able to fully control a dream, but there are first promising results; I had 3 DILD experiences where I instantly lost control and woke up, and 1 almost successful WILD, and my dream recall has increased strongly.
However, I have a problem when it comes to visualizations: When I imagine a scene, I tend to view myself from a third person perspective, like in many 3D computer role-playing games. I have a hard time imagining myself "into" my body. At least, I am able to look at an imagined scene out of my eyes, but then I have to artificially think about where my arms should be and try to "make them be there"... This makes it hard to stabilize a scene and makes V-WILD techniques very difficult. Visualizing myself in a scene from the outside is much easier, but this does not grant an immersion good enough for initiating a LD.
Do you have any hints on how to make this easier, or to train the visualization inside one's own body?
