I've tried it quite a few times, and every time I do it I get jolted wide awake and don't enter the dream state at all. Then I have to start WILDing all over again. Heh.

I saw the same post you did and tried it last night twice, one at 1am and once more during a WBTB.

During the first try upon doing the "drop" command I got slight SP and could at times feel my dream body disconnect at my shoulder but nothing more. Now, considering this happened after 20 minutes I find it interesting. I lay there until I felt like I needed to roll over. When I rolled over I felt a little uncomfortable and found it hard to not move. I did fall asleep quite quick after another roll but the slight SP went away. Still, in that time it's the farthest into WILD I ever went which wasn't a DEILD.

Tried it and fell asleep on my side... I woke up a little later (not sure how long i slept but around 1-2 hours) and I was in full SP (almost always only have partial SP) however it was very uncomfortably lying on the side, the weight on my lower shoulder was unbearable so I breathed deeply and got out of SP.
