Reality Checks are meant for you to be aware as much as possible every day, not only at certain times.
I like the idea though, it'll be a good way for me to increase the amount of RC's I do everyday. I'll start at lunch everyday, before and after....then move on to dinner everyday before and after...then so on and so forth.
I think he means everytime you finish an action. Not just eating. Like, if you are mowing the lawn. When you finish, RC. If you walk to the store, as soon as you get there, RC. It's the end of the action that's the trigger. In theory, if you make it a habit to RC at the conclusion of an action, in a dream you'll do the same thing. So if, in a dream, you ride your bike to the park, as soon as you complete the action of riding the bike, you should do a reality check, and become lucid. If you link the RC to the trigger of a terminating action, it should trigger an RC no matter what action is being terminated.
The only problem I see, and I'm not a professional by any stretch of the imagination, is that there are too many actions that we do throughout the course of a day. It's probably going to end up like the five minuet method. Instead, try linking them to common dream activities, like walking to a destination, or only major actions instead of trying to hit every single action.
I am interested to see how this works out for other people, also.
