      WILDing success.

About a week ago I posted a thread about how I was finally getting good at the WILD technique. Since then, excluding this morning, I didn't even get close to a successful WILD. But this morning I tried to do pretty much exactly what I did when I had so much success and voila - 5 WILDS!

Sadly, I spent the whole night trying to have sex with my neighbor. My house was full of my family, my neighbor's family, and cousins from out of state... I never have dreams like this, so this is probably due to me trying to get everyone to GTFO. I didn't realize until this morning that I could have just gone for it with all these people watching.

Anyway, I'm not trying brag, just want to offer some encouragement to those who haven't quite figured WILDing out. You gotta figure out what works for you!

the main difference that make has made this work extremely well when it has worked is that i read up on dreamviews (for waking me up, not the dreamviews part) for 10-15 minutes, then went back to sleep.

you just have to practice (im sure some will have to practice a lot more than others) and figure out what works best for you.

haha yeah! 2 of the WILDs weren't that great mostly due to be being a sucky lucid dreamer as of yet. but 3 of them were quite long and special!

Nice man, sounds good! Lucky you. Would you maybe make a tutorial of your personal WILD technique? Maybe that could help some other people out. I'm sure it's similar to other WILD techniques, but there are always those little personal discrepansies that make it unique.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. Do you use Sleep Paralysis for your WILD technique? Or do you not need to enter SP?

Is it possible to not have to enter SP?? HOW???!!??!

Also, i agree that you should make your own tutorial. Who knows who it would help? I've been trying to WILD, but i just can't get it. I too could use the extra advice.

Thanks! Perhaps when I get some more experience I will make a tutorial. For now I am still reading other tutorials!

I don't necessarily "use" sleep paralysis. I have never felt the actual sensation of paralysis. However, I do usually hallucinate a great deal before a dream begins. I think SP is inherent to WILDing but not necessary.

I think it is possible to not enter SP before a successful WILD. However, as far as I know, it's not up to you if you go into SP before your dream.

Let me know if I can answer any questions of yours. I have had many questions answered on these forums and would like to return the favor. Like I said before, I'm not even close to mastering this technique though.

Yup, you don't have to enter SP in order to WILD. I'm not an expert on the matter though, so I'm not the person to tell ya' how =P

      No I wasn't... I came very close.

Once I made it into the correct room of the correct house... but then I woke up.

All the other times I failed before I even made it to the right house. I don't remember nearly as much as I did when it was fresh in my mind but that was the closest I got.

If I was a more experienced LDer, I would have done much better. haha.
