Thread: Dream every night issues becoming lucid

Lucid dream is define that you know that you are dreaming within a dream. You lucid which is good but sadly you have no control. You should have post this in the Dream Control board.

I never have this problem myself...Ever try telling yourself that you will have control of the dream as soon you are aware that you are dreaming? Getting your mind focus on the idea may help and I heard that telling yourself that you will become lucid or whatever a few times right before you go to bed help so maybe will will do the same for this?

yes, i started chanting to myself in a lil song i made up (dorky but w/e) as i fall asleep that i shall have full control and be lucid. Its just in my dream I cant think for myself tho i know its a dream, its like watching myself start in a movie or story that my mind has already written. Its very frustrateing i just wanna take control. Mabey its the type of person i'm. I get real emotional in my dreams, diff if its about love and women. I'm always seeking that ideal loveing healthy relationship with a women.

It sounds like you are not FULLY understanding that you are having a lucid dream. The part where you mentioned being part of a script that has already has been written is familiar to me - I've been there many times.

During the day you need to periodically envision a scenario like you described before, but see yourself stopping what you are doing in the dream and FULLY appreciating the fact that you are having a lucid dream and that YOU are writing the script that's unfolding in front of you.

You are in one of those in-between stages right now where you know it's not reality but you just aren't grasping the true meaning and situation. Once that fog clears and you lock onto the realization that it's a lucid dream, you'll be able to have much more control.

Well last night i had a very vivid dream once again i thought i was lucid and in control. I was sorta at the start but the more the dream started the more i thought it was real. The dream had no werid or funny things it was a dream once again about me falling in love with a girl i randomly meet at some friends party. This time it had a slight creepy twsit. I find out she is jailbait (i''m 20 years old) she looks and told me she was 19, she was 17 (not to bad lol) anyways her parents were there and i talked with them they seemed cool, then her mom walks in on me and the girl kissing. then the girl walks out and all the sudden in the glasss closet mirror next to me her grandfather pops out (creepy old man) turns out to be a vampire and rushes me to the floor now at that very moment it felt like i was awake from the dream. when he was on me i felt biteing for real my body was locked up i tried to tell him to get off but no words came out.....is it possiable to have SP inside the dream? or was i awake and hulluinating from sp? I was only scared for as split sec, soon as he dispeared randomly i woke up and my body was numb and had a major head ace.

I can't tell you much about SP but I've had many dreams where my mobility goes out the window and I get heavy and heavier unexplainably. I'd go with the dream was controlling you. The numbness and head ache are strange though.

yeah it was werid, felt like a unpleasant body high. Is it also true that if you have fear or nightmares in dreams its easy to become lucid because u want the bad stuff to stop so u take control?
