I'd get up for a good amount of time. I feared that waking up and walking around would wake me up too much, so I tried to WILD as soon as I woke up, this always resulted in me passing out a minute or two later.
Then I tried sitting around for 5 minutes, this still wasn't enough.
The past two days however, I've been getting up for 40-50 minutes, sitting on the computer and going back to WILD, and it resulted in Lucid's both times.
I suggest you try a WBTB and mess around with how long you stay awake until you get it down.
