I can come out of a dry spell by changing my sleep pattern somewhat. I used to wake up halfway through the night at about 3 a.m. to try to take advantage of a WBTB. That worked for quite a while, but for about the last 2 months of it I had no lucids and was lucky to recall about 2 dreams per week. Once I adopted a contiguous sleep cycle after school got out, my recall shot up to about 9 dreams/week and had a lucid on about the 2nd or 3rd day.

Other things I've tried: lucid soundtracks, b-vitamin supplements, ginkgo, green tea, all with lesser amounts of success than a sleep schedule change.

the weird thing is, it all went down hill after i got out of school and had much less sleep.
I think my body just has to get used to more sleep?
