MILD is great actually, last 3 times I've used it I had a lucid dream. Thing is I've never WILDed, I guess those 2 DEILDs should count but the only reason why I got em was cuz I was lucid and I saw the dream fading so I remembered to stay still. So technically I can't DEILD unless I first spark a DILD. If I truly can't WILD, then I'll jump back to MILD.
You guys might be thinking, "Don't waste your time, if you can MILD just do that". That would be wise, except I don't really enjoy DILDs, simply because of the fact that you might not become lucid as soon as the dream starts. Let's say you're last REM of the day is 30 minutes, it would suck to randomly become lucid in the last 5 minutes, and then you can't do anymore cuz you gotta go to work or school.
Damn I wrote a lot, anyways if you practice these things frequently then you can become good at DILD and won't really worry about "luck" anymore.
